Cermak, a global lingerie and wedding dress brand based in Vigo, Spain, has embraced RFID technology to modernize its supply chain. Established in 1975, the company has evolved from offering a limited selection of lingerie to producing over 8,000 variations across 15 product categories, with an annual output exceeding 2 million pieces. To enhance inventory accuracy, streamline logistics, and improve efficiency, Cermak partnered with Spanish tech firm JSV and SATO Europe to deploy a UHF RFID solution.

Seamless RFID Integration for Supply Chain Optimization

In March 2024, Cermak implemented SATO’s CL4NX Plus printer and Vamos cloud software to encode and track RFID-tagged items. Each tag is embedded with a unique ID linked to product details, enabling real-time tracking from manufacturing to delivery. RFID readers, including fixed entrance scanners, handheld devices, and RFID tunnels, capture and update inventory data, significantly enhancing accuracy and visibility across the supply chain.
