Table of Contents
Have you ever wondered how to distinguish between hospital sheets, hotel towels, and factory uniforms? Hundreds or thousands of clothes are mixed together every day. If you accidentally mix them up, it will be a big trouble!
At this time, it is the turn of “Silicone UHF RFID Laundry Tags” to appear. This is a small tag sewn on clothes. It can recognize who each piece of clothing belongs to, how many times it has been washed, and whether it can be used. It is like giving each piece of clothing an ID card.

What does it look like? What is it used for?
This small tag is actually like a small piece of silicone, which is only about 7 cm long and 1.5 cm wide, and weighs less than 1 gram. Don’t underestimate its small size, it is very powerful:
It can withstand 90℃ washing, 180℃ high temperature drying and 135℃ disinfection;
It can be washed 200 times in a drum washing machine, dryer and dry cleaning machine;
It will not fall off or break whether it is washed or dry cleaned;
It can also tell the laundry system who it is, where it is and how many times it has been washed through “wireless signals”.

How does it work?
This tag contains a super small chip, which stores the information of the clothes. The laundry factory only needs to use a special reader (like a barcode scanner) to scan it, and it will “speak”:
“I am the bed sheet of ward 305, and I washed it three days ago!”
This technology is called UHF RFID, with a frequency between 860-960MHz. The reader does not need to touch it, as long as it is within 8 meters, it can be scanned, which is very convenient.
There are several chips that the tag supports, such as Alien H3, Impinj Monza R6, U8, etc., which are commonly used and stable chips on the market, and the data reading is fast and accurate.
FAQ
Q: Will this label be damaged by washing? A: No! It is specially designed for laundry and can withstand high temperatures, washing, drying, dry cleaning, disinfection and other operations. The more it is washed, the more durable it is!
Q: Is it expensive? A: Although the unit price of the label is slightly higher, it can be used hundreds of times, which is more cost-effective in the long run compared to frequent label changes and labor costs.
Q: Can it be customized?
A: Of course. You can print the LOGO, make different colors, and make different sizes. You can even write the information in the chip in advance and ship it the way you want.
